Retro analysis, reviews, and thoughts on video games you've played before

Welcome to Retro XP (formal pronunciation: Retro Experience), a video game newsletter by [checks notes] me, Marc Normandin. Maybe you know my baseball writing, but I used to write about and review video games as the editor of a news site, too. The way you had to do all that tended to suck the life and enjoyment out of games, so I stopped in order to reclaim at least one hobby-turned-job.

All these years later, I think I found a solution for that depressing problem: writing about old video games, on my own schedule, without ever having to convince anyone above me that scores drag down the value of reviewing. So, that’s what I’m going to do here.
